Why stay in Tenerife?

Tenerife is a near-year-round island escape, combining volcanic beaches and southern resorts with landscapes rising dramatically to Mount Teide. Israeli travelers usually base themselves in Costa Adeje or Los Cristianos, pairing Siam Park with a whale-and-dolphin cruise and a drive through Teide National Park. Couples gravitate to luxury hotels and the restaurants around La Caleta, while families favor pool-filled resorts and nature lovers continue to Masca and the Anaga forests. It is an excellent European beach option even when the Mediterranean turns cool, although the Atlantic feels pleasantly refreshing rather than truly warm.
