From the airport
From Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport, Metro line E reaches central Trindade in about 30 minutes for roughly ₪10-12. A taxi or ride-hailing car to the center usually takes 20-30 minutes and costs around ₪60-100, depending on traffic and time.
Need a car?
You do not need a car in Porto: the center is compact, the metro works well, and old-town parking is expensive and awkward. A car is worthwhile only for an independent trip to the Douro Valley, Braga, Guimarães, or the northern coast, ideally collected on the day you leave the city.
