Agios Nikitas, Milos, and Kathisma

Return for lunch at a taverna on the pedestrian lane, then continue to Kathisma, the west coast's most organized beach, with beach clubs, showers, and loungers. Arrive at Nydri harbor by 09:00 and join a day cruise that typically visits Papanikolis Cave on Meganisi, swimming coves, and waters near Skorpios, the island associated with the Onassis family. Those preferring a quieter experience should pre-book a boat carrying no more than 10 to 12 passengers rather than the large party vessel. Return in the afternoon, eat along the promenade, and, if energy allows, walk to Dimosari Waterfalls, about 20 minutes from the parking area. Head back before dark because the narrow, winding roads are less comfortable at night.

Start at Vasiliki harbor and take the short boat ride to Agiofili, a clear-water cove best reached before 10:00 while it remains calm. The nearest airport is Aktion-Preveza, served by seasonal flights from Israel, about 25 km and 30 minutes from Lefkada Town. KTEL buses run via Preveza on a limited schedule and cost about ₪15-35, but can turn a short transfer into 90 minutes or more; there is no train and no dependable Uber service on the island. Yes, for most Israeli visitors a rental car is close to essential: Porto Katsiki, Kathisma, Egremni, mountain villages, and the lighthouse are spread out, while buses are not designed for flexible beach-hopping.
