From the airport
Geneva is the most convenient gateway for most Israeli travelers. A shared shuttle to Val Thorens normally takes 3-4 hours and costs about ₪250-450 per person each way; a private transfer is roughly ₪1,400-2,300 per vehicle. Do not book accommodation in Les Menuires merely because it is described as close to Val Thorens if nightlife and walking back to your hotel matter to you, as they are separate resorts and evening transport is limited.
