On Nosy Be, a taxi from Fascene Airport to Ambatoloaka costs around ₪55–90 and takes 35–50 minutes, while Andilana is about ₪70–110 and usually 45–60 minutes.

For most Israeli travelers, the answer is no: self-driving in Madagascar means rough roads, potholes, hazardous night driving, checkpoints and unpredictable journey times.
